RFK Jr. Drops Bombshell: Claims Fauci Was Preemptively Pardoned Over COVID Origins
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. claimed Dr. Anthony Fauci was granted preemptive immunity because of his alleged role in the creation and release of COVID-19.
RFK’s accusation came during a recent interview where he questioned why the former top health official would need legal protection unless there was something to hide.
“Why did he need immunity? Why a preemptive pardon?” Kennedy asked.
He also asserted that “[Fauci] bears much of the responsibility for creating the COVID-19 virus,” citing gain-of-function research funding that was channeled through the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) under Fauci.
According to Kennedy, this funding and transfer of biotechnology gave Chinese researchers the tools to engineer SARS-CoV-2, the virus that caused the global pandemic.
The gain-of-function research had been suspended in the U.S. due to safety concerns.
However, Kennedy said Fauci’s NIAID used intermediaries to continue that research overseas.
“These are not just theories,” Kennedy said.
“We have whistleblower accounts, leaked emails, and funding documents that Congress has a right to review.”
Kennedy is now calling for an independent commission with full access to classified materials, email records, and funding channels linked to the beginning of the pandemic and Fauci’s involvement.
“This isn’t about politics—it’s about justice,” Kennedy said.
The claims came amid questions as to whether the U.S. government had knowledge of the origins of the virus and if officials were involved in facilitating research.
Watch:
Congressional Republicans have demanded access to more documents from the Department of Health and Human Services, NIAID, and researchers’ communications at Wuhan.
However, there is still no formal Department of Justice investigation into Fauci’s role in U.S. funding for Chinese labs.
Fauci has denied any wrongdoing and maintains that his agency did not support gain-of-function research that could have led to the pandemic.
Kennedy said the American people deserve full transparency.
“The public was told to trust the experts,” Kennedy said.
“Now we need to know whether those same experts helped create the very crisis they were managing.“
