Rapper and Social Media Influencer Lucas Coly, 27, Dies Suddenly
Rapper and social media star Lucas Coly has suddenly passed away at the age of 27, according to a post from his manager on Instagram.
Coly’s manager confirmed Coly’s death, writing, “Rest in peace @iamlucascoly I love you bro. My heart is ripped in half. Wait for me up there.”
The post goes on to say:

“Being your manager was one of the reasons I stayed here. There’s a hole in my heart right now Lucas,” he added.
“We used to speak on our struggles always but smile for the fans.”
So many people hurt us again and again but we had each other. I don’t know what to do now. I’d be a hypocrite if I told you not to, and I go and do the same.”
IColy’s manager revealed he spoke with Coly before his death.
He said:
“And for those wondering how I know if it’s true…. 1) I was his longtime manager and 2) because I was on the phone with him moments before.
He went on to say that Coly was “more of a brother” than one of his clients.
The manager also asked fans to respect Amber’s privacy, writing, “Please give her time to process and heal.”

No cause of death has been shared.
Fans were distraught over his death. Some expressed hope it was “fake news,” NBC New York reported.
“My heart is aching….I loved you since elementary school!’” one Instagram user wrote.
“Rest in paradise, young king,” wrote another.
Coly’s song “I Just Wanna” has more than 15 million views on platforms like YouTube and is considered a fan favorite.
Other popular songs include “Break Ya Back” and “My Lil Shawty.”
Coly rose to fame on the platform Vine 10 years ago. He is also known for his popular hit “I Just Wanna.”
