Pro-Life Prayer Campaign Has Saved Over 25,000 Babies From Abortion
Your prayers have saved more than 25,000 babies from abortion.
But we also know that the majority of the time you spend praying with your local 40 Days for Life campaign, you don’t witness immediate results.
Is it still worth standing vigil when you don’t see God answering your prayers?
As we head into the home stretch of the largest Lenten 40 Days for Life campaign ever, it’s a good time for a dose of encouragement.

Vác, Hungary
Bishop Zsolt Marton of the Catholic Diocese of Vác admitted he was skeptical of 40 Days for Life when it came to town. But he nevertheless welcomed the campaign with open arms.
His support has helped bear tremendous fruit, as the number of abortions at the local hospital has dropped by a third since the 40 Days for Life vigil began March 5.
Even the hospital has been supportive of the vigil!
So much so that on a rainy day, vigil participants were allowed to pray for an end to abortion from INSIDE the hospital–and were joined by one of the doctors!
Charleston, South Carolina
40 Days for Life outreach director and former Planned Parenthood manager Ramona Trevino shared her conversion testimony with campaign volunteers in Charleston.
The message inspired attendees to remember that a lack of visible results doesn’t mean God isn’t answering prayers.
“You remind all of us that God mostly works a step at a time rather than a single dramatic event,” wrote Susan, the local campaign leader. “You also remind us that God will keep working on our hearts if we give him permission.”
Burlington, Vermont
The Green Mountain State’s abortion statutes–signed into law by a Republican governor–are as lax as you’ll find in America.
John, who leads the 40 Days for Life vigil in Burlington, is not discouraged. “We are few, but we are mighty,” he said of pro-lifers in one of the nation’s most abortion-friendly states.
John recently held a Defund Planned Parenthood rally at his vigil site, drawing dozens of participants and coverage from two local television network affiliates!
