President Trump absolutely schooled CBS News on the government shutdown tonight.

As soon as reporter Norah O’Donnell started talking about the “longest government shutdown” in history, President Trump immediately cut her off, “Democrat’s fault!”

When pressed on how to end the government shutdown, President Trump spelled out the truth for her.

He explained how Republicans are unanimously voting to re-open the government, while Democrats keep voting against ending the shutdown.

“All they have to do is say ‘let’s vote,’” President Trump said.

Watch here:

In a later clip from the interview, President Trump held the line, refusing. to end the shutdown by “extortion.”

“I’m not going to do it by being extorted by the Democrats who have lost their way!”

He also directly took aim atChuck Schumer, calling him a “basketcase.”

Once again, he advocated for Republicans to use the nuclear option to end the shutdown.

Watch this:

This evening, President Trump again called for Republicans to use the nuclear option and terminate the filibuster to quickly end the Schumer Shutdown!

But, this time, he took things a step further, telling Republicans they should end the filibuster altogether “not just for the shutdown, but for everything else.”

He posted on Truth Social:

TERMINATE THE FILIBUSTER, NOT JUST FOR THE SHUTDOWN, BUT FOR EVERYTHING ELSE. WE WILL GET ALL OF OUR COMMON SENSE POLICIES APPROVED (VOTER ID, ANYONE?) AND MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN! REMEMBER, THE DEMOCRATS WILL DO IT IMMEDIATELY, AS SOON AS THEY GET THE CHANCE. OUR DOING IT WILL NOT GIVE THEM THE CHANCE. REPUBLICANS, BE TOUGH AND SMART! THE DEMS ARE CRAZED LUNATICS, THEY WILL NOT OPEN UP OUR COUNTRY NO MATTER HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE IRREPARABLY HARMED!

Do you agree?

Should Republicans nuke the filibuster and get the government re-opened?
