President Joe Biden says he has “more important” things to do that visit the U.S.-Mexico border, where illegal immigration is ravaging communities – even when he’s in Arizona – but, he’s made time for eight trips to ice cream shops.
On Thursday, Texas Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-Texas) called out Biden for refusing to enforce current immigration laws and making eight public visits to ice cream shops, while refusing to go the border even once:
“They don’t seem to care about what border patrol goes through. They don’t seem to care about what our border counties go through.
“According to Joe Biden, none of this is important enough. What is important, is at least eight public visits to get ice cream. That is apparently what this person prioritizes.”
Indeed, Biden has reportedly made eight public trips to ice cream shops, and traveled to his home state of Delaware 59 times, since taking office.
Yet, on Tuesday, when Biden was asked why he wouldn’t visit the border, even though he was going to a border state (Arizona), the president replied:
“Because there are more important things going on.”
