Pelosi: 'Hammer Attack on My Husband WORSE than Trump Assassination Attempt'

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has described the late-night hammer attack on her husband, Paul Pelosi, as “worse” than the assassination attempt against former president Donald Trump last month.

Pelosi also described the assassination attempt on President Trump as an ‘assault.”

Yes, really.

Pelosi says the attack against her family was a result of the Republican’s demonizing, which she claims is much worse than the assassination attempt on Trump.

“Well, I will tell you, my situation didn’t happen that day. It happened for years of the Republicans demonizing me, demonizing me, demonizing me, and some of them on this network demonizing me,” Pelosi said.

“And so it created an atmosphere where that would be acceptable.”

“So we can’t have that. We have to take that out of the picture. We have to take that out of the picture.”

“I was so saddened on the ‘assault’ on the President,” she said.

“That has no play. Thank God, it did not harm him greatly, and he survived,” she added.

“But we can’t have that in our politics. That was strange.”

“We don’t know the motivation. We don’t know the person.”

“What happened in our house was directly related to the politics of the day.”

Last year, Rob Reiner blamed Trump for attack Paul Pelosi, claiming the incident was because Trump challenged the legitimacy of the 2020 election.

“The violent assault on Paul Pelosi and the attempt to murder Speaker Pelosi is directly related to that Lie,” the actor wrote.
