NJ Twins Charged With Dying Threats to DHS Official, Vowing to ‘Shoot ICE on Sight’
Enforcing immigration law has always been a task that entailed risks, but today it seems more risky than ever. Assaults on Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents have skyrocketed since the Trump administration started actually enforcing immigration laws. On Tuesday, we learned that two men, twins, from New Jersey have been arrested for making some pretty lurid threats not only against ICE field agents, but directly against DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin.
A Fox News exclusive published Tuesday has details. These twins are now looking out through steel bars.
Two New Jersey brothers were arrested on charges tied to terroristic threats against DHS chief Kristi Noem’s top public-facing deputy, including alleged vows to “shoot ICE agents on sight.” One brother also faces unlawful weapons-possession charges.
The harrowing allegations come amid a reported 8,000% increase in death threats against Immigration and Customs Enforcement personnel. The alleged targeting of Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin presented a new danger for those working to realize President Donald Trump’s mass deportation of the “worst of the worst” illegal immigrant criminals.
Ricardo Antonio Roman-Flores and Emilio Roman-Flores, twins from Absecon, New Jersey, next to Atlantic City; were arrested after allegedly posting to X that they wanted to torture and kill McLaughlin in a medieval fashion.
There are photos of weapons recovered during the arrest, which appear to be an AR-15 pattern rifle and a Mossberg 590 shotgun, a 12-gauge piece with a nine-round capacity. Whatever these goblins intended to get up to, they had some effective weapons to do it with.
Some of their social media posts show a sad lack of understanding of the Second Amendment:
“[The Second] Amendment is in place for moments like this. Shoot ICE on sight,” one of the brothers allegedly tweeted in a partially redacted response to a McLaughlin message:
“We Americans should find you, tar you, feather you, and hang you as we did to anyone serving tyrants before the Revolutionary War.”
A second partially redacted tweet, reportedly from the other brother, read: “Shoot ICE on sight.”
That’s not what the Second Amendment was put in place for. The Second Amendment recognizes the right of American citizens to bear arms as a bulwark against a tyrannical government’s repression of the citizenry, not to take up arms against an agency legally carrying out its constitutional duties in finding and expelling people who are in the country illegally.

The twins are American citizens, so while they are facing serious charges and hopefully, if convicted, serious jail time, they can take comfort in knowing that they won’t be deported, satisfying as that might be.
The two suspects are American citizens. Emilio was charged with unlawful possession of an assault weapon, possession of prohibited weapons, conspiracy, terroristic threats, criminal coercion and cyber harassment.
His brother, Ricardo, was charged with one count of conspiracy-terroristic threats.
We are seeing increasing threats of violence against DHS and ICE agents; these threats are coming, as I’m continually pointing out, almost exclusively from the left. The “peaceful protestors” mobbing and attacking ICE and DHS field agents are also exclusively creatures of the left. The left likes to claim the right is unstable and violent, but here, once more, we have a stunning example of the exact opposite being true. These New Jersey twins appear to have been plotting an armed attack. They have said as much.
The Trump administration isn’t backing down. ICE and DHS will continue doing their jobs. And sooner or later, some far-left nutcase is going to cross that big, red line, and then it’s Katie-bar-the-door.
