Right to Life asks Dr Sarfati: How can she as a mother, a woman and a brilliant caring doctor, express pleasure at making progress in achieving equity and access in the killing of 16 277 unborn children and for the violence imposed on women?
As a doctor, she should know that abortion is not a health service and that women deserve better. We don’t help women by killing their children!.
The report disclosed:-
- Only 2 509 women, 15% of the total, sought pre-abortion counselling.
- 11,610 women were having a repeat abortion in 2023 ie nearly two thirds of abortions in 2023.
- The ethnicities of women having an abortion in 2023 were as follows:
- Maori 4,247
- Pasifika 1,410
- Asian 3,228
- European 7,386.
- There were 57 women who had an abortion in 2023 for whom it was their fifth or more abortion.
- There were 26 abortion providers who reported at least one woman who was scheduled to have an abortion, had changed their mind and chose life for their child.
- There were 4 abortion providers who reported 100 or more women who had changed their mind and chose life for their child.
- There were 317 complications resulting from an abortion, 1.9% at the time of the abortion. There were 15 883 abortions where there were no complications reported at the time of the abortion.
- The abortion workforce comprised 137 doctors, 214 nurses and 36 midwives.
Right to Life mourns with the women who have lost their precious child, because we failed to provide them with the love and support that they needed. Forgive us for failing you in your hour of need. Forgive also Dame Jacinda Ardern, who was the architect of the extremist Abortion Legislation Act which unjustly denied the humanity and right to life of the unborn, and effectively allows the unborn to be killed up to birth.
