NBA Futures: Thunder stay championship favorites; Knicks’ title odds unchanged
The Oklahoma City Thunder may have picked up their second loss of the season in the NBA Cup semifinals to the San Antonio Spurs, but with a record of 24-2 their odds to win the NBA championship continue to get shorter, moving all the way to +110.
Behind the Thunder are Nikola Jokic’s Denver Nuggets at +650, followed by the Houston Rockets (11-1), Los Angeles Lakers (13-1), New York Knicks (13-1) and Detroit Pistons (20-1). Even after winning the NBA Cup championship on Tuesday night, the Knicks’ odds to win it all remain unchanged from a week ago.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (+125) has edged in front of Nikola Jokic (+170) for MVP, while Luka Doncic (+320) is right behind. The next closest is Cade Cunningham at 55-1.
