Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi ‘Adjusted’ to Quiet Farm Life
Millie Bobby Brown has been opening up about her laid-back lifestyle on a farm in rural Georgia with husband Jake Bongiovi – as sources exclusively spill to Life & Style that the couple have taken to married life with ease and are treating their new environment like one big extended honeymoon.
“They’ve both adjusted so well to life on their farm. They love tending the animals, and taking walks around the property,” the source dishes of the newlyweds. “They have plenty of staff to do all the hard stuff, like mucking the stalls, so it’s not exactly hard to enjoy it all.”
“They aren’t retiring from working, they both still have big Hollywood ambitions, but they don’t want the lifestyle of the big city or the constant industry around them,” continues the source. “A lot of stuff gets show[n] in Atlanta so it’s not a bad location in that way.”
More than anything, the Stranger Things actress, 21, and musician Jon Bon Jovi’s son, 22 – who tied the knot in May 2024 — are “enjoying all this time together.”
“Millie has had a lot more downtime lately, they can actually spend the day in bed if they want to, which they do often,” adds the source. “But overall, they are both very active and they genuinely love working with the animals so it’s a really sweet set-up for them as they settle into their marriage.”
Millie and Jake first sparked rumors of romance in June 2021. After three years of dating, the sweet couple said “I do” in a private ceremony with family in May 2024.
As both Jake and Millie are in the entertainment industry and juggle bustling schedules, a separate insider noted that the Enola Holmes actress has been especially eager to make sure she’s giving her relationship the time and attention it deserves.
“She went into this marriage with her eyes wide open and also, importantly, because she needed a change. She has spent the last seven years working nonstop, making movies during breaks from her TV show and making a small fortune via her endorsements on social media and with various paid promotional work,” the insider explained in June 2024. “The real goal right now, even as she gets back to work on the final season of Stranger Things, is that she wants to be a great wife. Money is not a motivator for her at all – she’s already at the top of her generation of actors and still gets offers for more work on a weekly basis.”

The insider confirmed Jake’s family has been “incredibly supportive of MBB slowing down, settling down and figuring things out for herself” as she focuses on “building a solid foundation for the family she wants to have in the years to come.”
“Frankly, that’s all she wants to worry about right now!” the insider added. “Everything else is just a distraction!”
As Millie adjusts to married life, she’s also embracing farm-life wholeheartedly. In a March interview with Vanity Fair, she revealed that she genuinely enjoyed working with animals — even if it’s not as glamorous as Hollywood.
“I’m not doing it for the aesthetic,” she said at the time. “I’m doing it because I love it. There are maybe some trad wives out there doing it because it seems wholesome, but it is not. If you’re not picking up horse s–t or washing a cow with your bare hands, then that life is not made for you. At all.”
