Meghan Markle gave fans a glimpse inside her and Prince Harry’s home in Montecito, California, while sharing a little piece of her recent trip to Canada in a new photo.

The Duchess of Sussex, 43, took to her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, February 12, to share a snap of a cutting board filled with chocolates and other treats in the shape of bear paws, mountains and an “I Am” logo. Next to the cutting board was a box of Timbits, which are bite-sized donuts from the Canadian-based coffeehouse franchise Tim Hortons. Finally, there were two green child-sized jerseys customized with the names of Meghan and Harry’s two kids, “Archie” and “Lilibet.”

In the background of the photo, fans could see a bucket filled with fruit and a window overlooking some greenery.

“A taste of Canada and The Invictus Games for our little ones!” Meghan wrote over the image. “Cheering you on from home!”

Meghan and Harry, 40, received the jerseys as gifts for Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3, when they attended a wheelchair basketball event in Vancouver, Canada, on Sunday, February 9.

“We did one for him and one for M and for the kids,” Nigerian team manager Derrick Cobbinah explained to People of the souvenirs. “They said they would be excited to have them. [Meghan] was very, very excited.”

The duke and duchess spent four days together in Vancouver and Whistler for the kickoff of the Invictus Games, a sporting event for wounded, injured and sick military service personnel. Harry, who founded the games in 2014, stayed in Canada while Meghan left on Tuesday, February 11, to return home to their children in California.

The couple made the move to the Golden State in 2020 after they stepped back from their royal duties. Though Meghan and Harry have since settled down in Montecito, a source exclusively told Life & Style in January that the pair were considering a possible move to Los Angeles in 2025.

“Meghan still loves Montecito, she always says how gorgeous it is, but the neighborhood vibe isn’t totally her speed,” the insider said.

In December 2024, neighbors claimed in the German documentary Harry: The Lost Prince that the duke and duchess were not involved in their community. One neighbor, Richard Mineards, said, “I personally don’t think that Meghan is an asset to our community … She doesn’t really go out or get involved with the community.”

The source shared that Meghan said the “accusations are absurd,” noting that she’s plenty social, with “friends at the Polo Club and a very exclusive group of other celebs and Hollywood types that they hang around.” However, the insider added, “That doesn’t mean it’s not uncomfortable to get bashed by these busybodies.”

The source concluded, “Moving closer to the city, maybe even the outskirts of Malibu where they could still have a big property with privacy but also be closer to the action and the movers and shakers is discussed a lot, so there’s every chance a move could happen sometime in 2025.”
