Maxwell Breaks Silence: “I’ll Testify on Epstein If Congress Calls Me”
Jeffrey Epstein’s longtime associate, Ghislaine Maxwell, has said she is prepared to “reveal the truth” about the convicted sex trafficker amid growing public anger over the government’s investigation into his elite abuse network.
Maxwell, who is currently serving a 20-year sentence on charges of recruiting and grooming Epstein’s underage victims, has expressed her willingness to speak with Congress if invited.
“Despite the rumors, Ghislaine was never offered any kind of plea deal. She would be more than happy to sit before Congress and tell her story,” a source said.
“No one from the government has ever asked her to share what she knows. She remains the only person to be jailed in connection to Epstein and she would welcome the chance to tell the American public the truth.”
Last week, the U.S. Department of Justice announced that no one else will be charged in connection to Epstein’s crimes, despite previous comments from Attorney General Pam Bondi suggesting she was reviewing a “client list” associated with Epstein.
Both Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel have since stated that no such client list exists.
The sudden reversal has angered many within the MAGA coalition, and President Donald Trump took to social media to defend Bondi amid the backlash.
“What’s going on with my ‘boys’ and, in some cases, ‘gals?’ They’re all going after Attorney General Pam Bondi, who is doing a FANTASTIC JOB,” Trump wrote Saturday on Truth Social. “We’re on one Team, MAGA, and I don’t like what’s happening.”
Maxwell is alleged to have groomed young girls using sex toys and soothing words, preparing them to receive Epstein’s horrific abuse.
During her trial, Maxwell maintained that she should have been protected from prosecution due to a Non-Prosecution Agreement signed by Epstein in 2007 when he pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor counts of underage prostitution. That plea deal allowed him to serve minimal jail time.
Critics of the government’s handling of Epstein’s death have accused Bondi and Patel of releasing jail surveillance footage that fails to show the cell door, which they claim raises serious questions about how Epstein died.
A source close to Maxwell reiterated her readiness to testify under oath.
“Congressional hearings have been held into everything from JFK’s assassination to 9/11. The Epstein Files rank up there with those cases. Ghislaine would be willing to speak before Congress and tell her story,” the source told the Daily Mail.
Maxwell’s legal team is also appealing to have her case heard by the U.S. Supreme Court.
“President Trump was photographed with Epstein several times and they ran in the same circles, but Trump was one of the first to break all contact with Epstein because they fell out over a business deal and Epstein’s treatment of women,” the informed source added.
“There are no big shocks about President Trump in the Epstein Files. But there are a lot of powerful men involved and a lot of money, and it will come down to following the money.”
