Moving on! Love Is Blind star Marissa George has found love again after her heartbreaking split from costar Ramses Prashad.

“I need a partner who’s gonna anticipate my needs a bit more [and] who’s gonna allow me to be the more emotional one and not have me lead the relationship as much. I figured that out with Ramses,” Marissa, 32, told Journalposts in an interview published on Saturday, November 2. “I’m currently dating someone right now and he has those qualities that Ramses didn’t have for our relationship.”

The lawyer added that her new boyfriend, whom she didn’t name, “takes care of [her] in a way that [she] used to take care of other people and how [she] took care of Ramses in a way.” She also gave fans some details about how she and her new partner met.

“We met at Barcelona in D.C. and we kind of dated a bit, but I was still working through a lot of my emotions with Ramses, so we stopped going on dates and we took a break and still stayed friends. We started dating [again] in April,” Marissa said. “It’s going very well.”

As for whether or not he watched Love Is Blind season 7 and saw Marissa’s relationship with Ramses, 35, play out, the answer is yes.

“He did watch [the show] and it’s, obviously, hard to see your partner, like, in love with somebody else, but he knew what to expect and he knows the type of person I am. So he wasn’t too shocked I don’t think. I think we are definitely stronger because of it,” Marissa told the outlet.

During Love Is Blind season 7, Marissa’s mom, Vanessa, didn’t hit it off with Ramses when they first met. At the reunion, Vanessa actually said she was glad that he called the wedding off. However, Marissa revealed that her new boyfriend’s relationship with her mom couldn’t be any more different.

“My mom loves him and it drives me insane,” Marissa said. “She’s never loved a boyfriend more. They call each other and have private conversations. He texts my brother and my sister. It’s really nice to have him involved in my family in a way that other partners never [has. I think they can be intimidated by my mom at first and he never was.”

Marissa also shared a video via Instagram of herself cuddled up to her new man and the two looked smitten with one another.

“Life has a funny way of surprising you. I never expected to fall in love again, let alone with someone who embraces all my energy and flaws,” Marissa wrote alongside the video on Friday, November 1. When we first met, I asked him if I was too much. He looked at me, confused, and said, What do you mean?’ I simply replied, ‘Nevermind,’ and from that moment on, I never questioned my energy again.”

Some of the reality TV star’s season 7 costars offered up their congratulations in the comments.

Leo Braudy wrote a simple, “Amen,” while Monica Davis added, “Love wins!!! This is everything.”
