Love Is Blind’s Madison Matched With Another Woman Costar on Hinge
An ongoing theme throughout Love Is Blind season 8 revolved around how Minneapolis had a “small town” vibe because everyone could play Six Degrees of Separation, and Casandra Barron recently revealed that she actually matched on a dating app with another woman from the show – Madison Errichiello – before arriving to film.
“When we got off our flight, all the girls met up at the airport [before going into the experiment] and me and Madison recognized each other,” Casandra, 30, said during an interview with MPR News on Thursday, March 13. “I couldn’t quite picture it, where I had known her. Then, she comes up to me at breakfast and she goes, ‘Do you remember we matched on Hinge, like, a year ago?’”
She continued, “I was like, ‘I know we’re following each other on Instagram, but how?’ But we had matched on Hinge the year before. And she was like, ‘If this doesn’t work out, let’s [date each other].’ Now, we’re best friends, so it’s great.”
Madison, 28, who was open about her bisexuality during her time in the pods, had also previously spoken about the moment she realized that she knew Casandra when she made a guest appearance on Kaitlyn Bristowe’s “Off the Vine” podcast on Tuesday, March 11.
“At first I was kind of nervous [to say something],” Madison explained. “The gay panic set in and I was like, ‘Oh, my God, do I say something [or] do I not?’ Then I just ended up saying something. I also didn’t know how comfortable she was and I didn’t want to say anything on camera either.”
While Madison connected with both Alex Brown and Mason Horacek on the show, she left the pods single. However, she hasn’t held back on expressing her feelings about the male cast members in Love Is Blind season 8.
During a February 15 Q&A Madison shared on her Instagram Stories, fans asked her questions about her time on the show, and she said that she had “no regrets” about either of her relationships ending. One person asked if she felt like she missed out on anything after leaving the pods because she didn’t get engaged.
“The only thing I missed out on is wasting more time lmao. I’m glad it ended when it did!” Madison wrote in reply.
Viewers also saw some of her distaste for the men when she attended a group outing with some of her fellow cast members in episode 11, which premiered on February 28.
“I’m really glad that Mason and I didn’t end up together. I just think the way that he acted in this situation is an ick to me,” Madison told the Love Is Blind producers during a confessional.
In that same episode, she was filmed telling her costar Lauren O’Brien that Alex, 29, was a “massive liar” after he seemingly changed his tune regarding his feelings toward Mason, 33, once he and Madison began texting after their time in the pods.
“I don’t know what the truth is because he is a massive liar. He’s a huge liar. When I saw him at the airport, I was like, ‘What’s your real take on Mason?’” Madison recalled to Lauren, 31. “He goes, ‘F–k Mason. F–k Mason.’ And I was like, ‘But you didn’t say that in the pods while the cameras were rolling and that makes me lose respect for you.’ I just keep hearing all these things Alex has been saying about me and I am so disgusted by it. Literally, if he tries to come talk to me I will be like, ‘You are a waste of time.’”
