When asked for comment, Oakes told the Naples Daily News, “We’re looking into it, but everything’s good.” According to WINK News, multiple Florida Highway Patrol vehicles were spotted at his residence and business, but the Florida Highway Patrol directed questions to the U.S. Secret Service, who declined to comment, stating, “The U.S. Secret Service will not confirm the existence or the status of an investigation.”
