Kylie Jenner Faces Backlash Over Latex Outfit for School Pickup Runs
Kylie Jenner received backlash from fans when she claimed a plunging red latex dress was something she would wear on a school pickup run with her kids.
The reality star, 27, posted a Q&A video to Instagram on Monday, March 17, describing her new Khy collaboration with Poster Girl, which included a number of sexy latex outfits.
“Where would you wear these pieces?” flashed across the screen, as Kylie initially said she’d wear her look “to the club,” then adding, “I would wear this outfit to pick up my kids from school.”
The California native continued, “I would wear this outfit to take business meetings. I feel very snatched in this outfit.”
The red dress hugged Kylie’s famous curves and looked like it had been painted on. She even responded that while it appeared she was on the verge of a wardrobe malfunction, “This is, like, the most comfortable latex I’ve ever put on my body. Yes, my boobs are super safe.”
Some fans were baffled by Kylie’s claim that she wound don such a daring look to pick up 7-year-old daughter Stormi Webster and 3-year-old son Aire Webster from school. The cosmetic mogul shares both children with ex-boyfriend Travis Scott.
“I’ve been picking up my kids in the wrong outfits this whole time,” one user joked, while another pleaded, “Pls don’t wear that to your kids school pls for the love of God don’t.”
“Beautiful dress but let’s be honest, no one would pick up their kids up in that dress outside of Hollywood and your children would be so embarrassed. Kids are kids!” a third fan noted, while a fourth called Kylie out, writing, “If you pick up your kids in that they’re cooked. lmao good thing you don’t and got nannies and drivers.”

Not all fans were aghast over Kylie’s idea of a school pickup outfit, as one person cheered, “You know what, hell yeah.”
The entrepreneur wore a black version of the dress when announcing her joint venture with Poster Girl on March 14. Kylie called it “an iconic collaboration with London-based designers Natasha and Francesca. She also said she always “adored” their items, and added, “I really fell in love with their latex pieces. They make me feel so confident and sexy.”
The limited collection of Khy latex designs launched on Tuesday, March 18.
On the day of the launch, Kylie shared an Instagram video wearing a black latex minidress while being cheered on by her mother and manager, Kris Jenner.
“Go Kylie go! Good job Kylie, you’re doing amazing sweetie,” Kris, 69, loudly cheered in a over-the-top voice as her daughter walked back and forth modeling the dress.
“Wow, look at her go,” Kris continued about her daughter and client. “Woo! Great job. I knew you would shine.”
“Remind me not to bring Kris to set next time,” Kylie captioned the video, reminding fans that her collaboration just dropped.
Fans raved over Kris delivering her legendary “you’re doing amazing sweetie” line. One person wrote, “I can’t with the iconicness of this!” while another added, “The iconic recreation ever known to the mankind.”
