Kamala claims Joe’s policies: Letters to the Editor — Oct. 14, 2024
The Issue: Miranda Devine’s column on Vice President Harris’ tying herself to Biden on The View.
Perhaps unintentionally, Miranda Devine flattered the vacuous Vice President Harris by referring to her as “Joe 2.0” (“Kam can’t hide it: She’s just Joe 2.0,” Miranda Devine, Oct. 10).
Although President Biden’s supporters cannot point to a meaningful accomplishment he has achieved in his entire career, it has not been because of his lack of effort.
By contrast, in her three years as vice president, Harris has provided ample evidence that she is utterly lazy and therefore incapable of being our nation’s president.

On “The View,” Harris fully admitted that she was a key participant in the formulation of administration policies in the last four years.
She now owns the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan, the massive inflation and debt caused by overspending, the open border, over which tens of millions of migrants entered our country, the massive crime wave that came thereafter and the recent foreign policy chaos.
Harris has now put us all on notice as to what to expect in the next four years should we put her back in the White House — more of the same, or worse.

On “The View,” when asked if there was anything she would do differently, Harris said, “There is not a thing that comes to mind.”
She wouldn’t change a thing, which clearly alludes to the fact that her candidacy would be Biden 2.0.

People keep criticizing Harris’ lackluster performance on The View.
But it must be understood that the DEI party, the Democratic Party, has set a low bar for their presidential candidate.
Simply put: The person chosen must simply do a better job reading from a teleprompter than Biden.
Decision-making would not be necessary, since all decisions would be made by the party elite — as it has been during the entire Biden administration.

Since Harris hasn’t announced her plan on how to move the country forward, it will be business as usual. Nothing will be done about the safety and security of Americans.

The Issue: Former President Barack Obama’s claim that black men won’t vote for Harris due to sexism.
I knew the Democrats would pull the gender card (“Race-baiting Bam lecture,” Oct. 11)
Former President Barack Obama suggested that black men aren’t willing to vote for a female president simply because she would be a woman.
While that may be true, Harris is also largely unable to secure more votes because her policies have delivered the opposite of what many voters want.
Most voters want lower inflation and debt, safe communities, controlled immigration, less divisiveness and more accountability.
Perhaps Harris and the Democrats should dig a little deeper.
Maybe then, they would see that often their policies don’t help the average American — but rather hurt them and the country at large.

It’s like trying to pull a rabbit out of a hat, except this time Obama won’t be able to pull it off.
His signature rhetoric of trying to appeal to black voters has worn off, especially when he tries to bait them along.
Voters have smartened up, especially since Obama’s chosen candidate doesn’t have the substance.
His faded persona simply doesn’t carry the same weight as his former tag-line once did, of “Hope and Change.”
