Justin Bieber Threatens Apple With ‘Rear Bare Choke Maintain’ Over iPhone Function

Justin Bieber is not having it with this one function from Apple.

On Thursday, December 4, the “Baby” singer took to Instagram to vent about the iPhone dictation button — yes, that little menace that shows up right next to the send button when you’re texting. In a close-up screenshot of his message, Bieber circled the infamous button and paired it with a hilariously threatening caption:

“If I hit this dictation button after sending a text and it beeps and stops my music one more time, I’m gonna find everyone at apple and put them in a rear naked choke hold,” he wrote. “Even if I turn off dictation I somehow hit the voice note thing. The send button should not have multiple functions in the same spot.”

Fans were living for it. One commented, “Thank you for using your platform for good ❤️,” while another cracked, “Caption is sending me but honestly apple likes to complicate simple things 😂.” And of course, one user nailed it: “Justin Bieber’s instagram presence over everyone else’s instagram presence.”

Bieber has been unusually active on Instagram this year, sharing memes, blurry candid shots and the occasional bizarre rant — this one fully warranted. But the pop star hasn’t always kept it light. Back in May, he stirred up attention with a post about his wife Hailey Bieber’s Vogue cover, spilling details about a past fight.

“Yo this reminds me when Hailey and I got into a huge fight,” he wrote. “I told Hails that she would never be on the cover of Vogue. Yikes I know, so mean.” Feeling “so disrespected” at the time, he admitted trying to “get even” wasn’t his best move. He ended the post with a direct shoutout to Hailey: “So baby u already know but forgive me for saying u wouldn’t get a Vogue cover cuz clearly I was sadly mistaken.”

Fans had thoughts — many felt he was airing “dirty laundry” during a moment that should have been all celebration. Justin eventually swapped out the long caption for a random string of emojis: shrug, pointing finger, heart hands and a tearful-smile emoji. Because of course.
