Juliana Pasquarosa Promotes Clothing Line Before Making Bachelor Debut
Bachelor contestant Juliana Pasquarosa seemingly timed her clothing line drop to coincide with her reality TV debut.
The Massachusetts native, 29, who made her first onscreen appearance during the Monday, January 27, episode of The Bachelor, promoted her new business on the same day as the premiere.
“@nicegirlslabel (NGL), a brand created by two powerhouse sisters inspired by their Nonna’s mantra – ‘It’s nice to be nice’ – was pure magic,” the Instagram Reel read. “Fun fact: @julianapasquarosa, one half of this dynamic sister duo, is a contestant on The Bachelor Season 29, premiering TONIGHT on ABC!”
The caption continued, “So in honor of tonight, we are all rooting for her as she spreads kindness and makes waves – on and off the screen. Who else is tuning in tonight? Let’s show her some love – and support their swag when it drops!”
Juliana was one of 25 girls who walked into the Bachelor mansion to meet Grant Ellis for the first time. Although Juliana didn’t bring up her new venture on night one, fans are often quick to question if a contestant is there “for the right reasons” if they have a business to promote while on the show.
The clothing brand cofounder impressed the season 29 lead and earned her rose on night one, securing her spot for the next week. Alexe Godin was chosen by Grant, 31, for the first impression rose, which also included the season’s first one-on-one date — a special twist this year.
Grant was cast as The Bachelor after being eliminated before hometown dates on Jenn Tran’s season of The Bachelorette in 2024. The former professional basketball player previously revealed he was in a seven-year relationship before he and his ex-girlfriend split.
“The trajectory of what I was trying to do and where I was trying to go with my life and my goals and visions, it just ended up creating a rift in the relationship, and then we agreed to separate,” the New Jersey native explained during an episode of “The Viall Files” podcast on August 15, 2024.
Grant told host Nick Viall that while the breakup was “painful … a lot of the times the most painful experiences you grow from.”
The day trader also opened up about what he was looking for during his time on The Bachelor during an August 2024 episode of the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast with Bachelor Nation alums Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt.
“I want somebody who has a heart for other people,” Grant said at the time. “I want somebody who has a heart for other people, somebody who’s not self-absorbed, somebody who is affectionate, who’s kind. Obviously a beautiful woman, but I’m super open in this process, because I know that — just through life experience — that sometimes, the best things come in the most unexpected ways.”
The Bachelorette alum continued, “So I’m just looking at what’s inside of a person, and I’m really going to be getting to know these women, asking them questions and I’m gonna discover myself, but they’re also gonna discover themselves in this process.”
The Bachelor airs on ABC on Mondays at 8 p.m. ET
