Jill Biden Mocked for 'Tasteless' White House Christmas Decorations: 'Looks like a Circus!'
First Lady Jill Biden faced a pummelling online after she unveiled this year’s “tacky” White House Christmas decorations.
Jill Biden’s “circus”-style Christmas decor, which featured multi-coloured doorway drapes more befitting of a Barnum & Bailey travelling tent, had many social media users in an uproar over what she had done to the White House.
This year’s Christmas twist left much to be desired, as many noted Biden’s tone of deafness in the decorations following President Joe Biden’s decision to pardon his son, Hunter Biden.
Jill Biden joined National Guard members on Monday to unveil the design as X users slammed her bizarre taste.
“What has Nurse Jill done with our White House? My God,” wrote Jake Schneider, President-elect Donald Trump’s rapid response director.

“The White House is a circus, so I guess these are appropriate Christmas decorations,” replied another X user.
Another called the circus theme “appropriate” given the chaos of Biden’s final embattled months in office.
“As usual, fake ‘Dr’ Jill made a horrendous job of the White House’ holiday’ decorations. However, it did have an appropriate circus theme for the clown resident,” their post read.
Jill Biden rambled on her time in the White House from the podium.
“It has been the honor of our lives to serve as your President and First Lady,” she told attendees in a joint statement with the president.
“Our hope is for the Nation to be blessed with the peace and light of the holiday season. At the holidays, Americans come together every year in fellowship and faith, reminding us that we are stronger as a community than we are apart.”
“The strength of our country, and the soul of our Nation, come from you.”
The White House later released statistics on the Christmas decorations tallying 83 Christmas trees, 165,075 “holiday” lights, 9,810 feet of ribbons, and more than 28,125 ornaments
On the sculpture’s front lawn, a gingerbread replica of the White House and an ice skating rink were also featured.
Meanwhile, a reporter asked the first lady whether she approved of Hunter’s pardon.
“Dr. Biden, what changed on the pardon for Hunter?” one reporter yelled.
“Of course I support the pardon of my son,” she said into the microphone, which by that point had been turned off.
