Jersey Shore's Ronnie Ortiz-Magro Smile Makeover: Before, After Photos
Shining brighter than ever before! Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro has debuted a new smile makeover and Life & Style is sharing all the exclusive details.
The reality TV personality, 39, paid a visit to the highly-acclaimed dental practice Apa Aesthetic Miami on February 21, where Dr. Vince Avallone corrected a variety of issues including a previously problematic implant, three missing teeth, and mouth full of crowns.
Fans of the MTV hit show may recall that Ronnie’s dental struggles began after a 2018 physical altercation with his ex-girlfriend, Jen Harley, resulting in the loss of a few of his teeth.
The former couple, who started dating in 2017, have since called it quits but are now happily coparenting daughter, Ariana Sky Magro, 6.
Jen, 37, told the Daily Mail in an October 2024 interview that the two speak on the phone “almost every day” and have found a way to be “good coparents.”
However, back then, cast members like Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, who watched the tumultuous relationship unfold, teased Ronnie on the condition of his teeth. “This motherf–ker don’t have no teeth,” Mike, 42, said in a Jersey Shore: Family Vacation clip. “Straight one-two to take out the bottom teeth. Ron, I love you, but take $20,000 back from Jen and get some new teeth.”
Despite the lighthearted teasing, Ronnie’s dental issues went beyond cosmetic concerns. He decided to step away from cameras and seek treatment for his mental health, only returning back to the show in 2019 where he surprised his castmates with a new and improved smile.
“It’s a whole new Ronnie,” costar Vinny Guadagnino, 37, told cameras. “A new spirit, new clothes, new teeth!”
While this initial dental work was an improvement, Ronnie’s journey wasn’t over yet. As researched at Apa Aesthetic, 62 percent of smile makeovers are redo cases or corrective procedures to treat previous work done. Ronnie, unfortunately, is part of that 62 percent with Dr. Vince repairing both aesthetic and functional issues.
“Ronnie presented loose teeth from an imbalanced bite and cavities around his crowns. We did a full-mouth revision to address aesthetics, function, and overall oral health,” Dr. Vince tells Life & Style exclusively while noting, unlike veneers, crowns require a 360-degree restoration that require more drilling and typically are preceded by a root canal.
Additionally, Dr. Vince “removed cavities, rebuilt [Ronnie’s] bite, and redesigned his smile in terms of tooth shape and position to ensure overall facial harmony.”

Lastly, the Apa Aesthetic expert shares that Ronnie’s “restorations were made by a master ceramist, using porcelain powder and a paintbrush to create restored teeth that look like teeth.”
This new smile makeover has Ronnie looking good and feeling good as his focus remains on being the best version of himself that he can be. “I am becoming a better person,” Ronnie shared in a recent episode of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. “I’m happy, I’m healthy, I have my daughter and that’s all that matters.”
