Demonstrators swarmed outside the Supreme Court, bizarrely demanding protection for the soldiers’ so-called “right to rape Palestinians” and calling for the punishment of Major General Yifat Tomer-Yerushalmi, who leaked the footage. Testimonies collected by the Palestinian Centre for Human Rights lay bare a nightmare of forced nudity, electrocution, repeated rapes, videotaped assaults, and the use of objects and trained dogs in depraved sexual violence. The PCHR’s detailed 129-page report based on 153 testimonies documents how Israeli prisons are torture factories where sexual abuse is engineered as a tool of domination and genocide.
