Inside Gavin Casalegno's Family Plans With Wife Cheyanne

The Summer I Turned Pretty hunk Gavin Casalegno has been opening up about his first year of marriage with wife Cheyanne Casalegno and a source exclusively tells Life & Style the happy couple are now turning their attention to starting a family.

“They’ve been married a year now so everyone back in Texas, where Gavin’s from, has started asking them when they’re going to have babies and the answer is whenever God blesses them,” the sources reveal.

Insiders tell Life & Style their mutual friends are all in agreement that Gavin, 25, and Cheyanne are one of the strongest young couples in Hollywood.

Fans were overjoyed when the duo revealed they made it official in November 2025. The actor and registered nurse have seemingly been dating since the spring of 2023.

“Gavin and Cheyanne are such a great match, they get along so well and are so supportive of each other,” sources reveal about their dynamic months after the pair announced they tied the knot. “They’ve just created this new fashion brand together and didn’t have one argument through the whole process, they’re a great team.”

He gushed about them getting on the “same page creatively” in April while discussing his Kai Lo clothing brand and the other passion projects they have been working on together to Page Six, calling their first year of marriage “so fun.”

“They both want kids and would be thrilled to start a family, it’s very much on the table now that they’re married. Gavin comes from a very traditional church background so it’s pretty common for people to start having kids in their mid-twenties back home,” insiders exclusively tell Life & Style. “They already live a very healthy and homebody lifestyle so adjusting to a baby will be easier for them than a lot of 20-somethings in Los Angeles.”

“They haven’t announced anything yet, but it won’t surprise anyone if it does happen soon, they don’t see any reason to wait.”

It’s unknown how they met but Gavin has made it clear that he’s head over heels for his blushing bride, who graduated from Baylor University with a bachelor of science in nursing.

Not only do they get along well, but Gavin and Cheyanne also love making new memories together. The pair appeared to travel to Asia together in 2023 before seemingly jet-setting to Italy.

Gavin also spoke about his approach to finding a partner that year, revealing that he was intentional and serious about building romantic connections.

“Being an adult, I’ve learned what it means to just mature a little bit in the dating space; You’re dating to marry, you’re not dating to just date,” the Vampire Diaries alum told Cosmopolitan. “I think that gets lost a lot of times in younger generations.”

“I really try to be intentional with everything that I do as far as spending my time and gift giving and flirting and all these things,” he added.
Gavin also admitted that he likes to keep his love life private, especially being in the spotlight due to the nature of his work.

“I had to really learn to navigate my own privacy and well-being,” Gavin told Shondaland. “The quick fix for me is just deleting Instagram and all these apps to kind of check out, to be with my family and be with myself, to spend some time with the Lord — that’s really where I thrive.”
