Insane Clown Posse's Violent J Endorses Kamala Harris
As Vice President Kamala Harris scrambles for votes as the 2024 election edges closer, she managed to secure an endorsement from frontman Insane Clown Posse (ICP), Violent J. How will the Trump campaign ever recover?
Violent J expressed his backing for the Vice President during an appearance on The Daily Show.
Red Voice Media reported that the segment, hosted by comedian Troy Iwata, explored a lighthearted idea: Juggalos, the passionate fans of ICP, could become a new voting bloc in swing states like Ohio.
As most Juggalos voiced little interest in politics, Violent J’s endorsement of Harris stood out.
“I want her to win because she’s a Democrat, and I love my mom,” the rapper said.
Harris may see this as an opportunity to capture a fringe group’s support.
Unfortunately for Harris, the majority of Juggalos seem indifferent, with many expressing disdain or apathy toward the political process.
“Juggalos don’t get involved in politics,” one attendee declared, while others echoed similar sentiments of distrust toward politicians.
For those unfamiliar, Violent J of Insane Clown Posse is an early 2000s rap duo known for its shock value and controversial lyrics.
Their fanbase stems from the Juggalos, a group notorious for rejecting societal norms, donning clown makeup, and attending the group’s annual Gathering of the Juggalos, a music festival.
Whether Harris can translate Violent J’s endorsement into actual votes remains to be seen.
Juggalos are typically skeptical of the political world and tend to shy away from values from mainstream Democratic platforms.
Harris’ ICP endorsement has unsurprisingly become the subject of jokes among Trump supporters, as it demonstrates how desperate her campaign has become.
