Influencer Alix Earle Adopts Her Foster Canine Asia on Christmas
It seems one very special dog had an extra merry Christmas this year!
In a TikTok shared on December 25, influencer Alix Earle announced to her fans that her foster dog Asia has officially become an Earle.
The pup sat with Earle in front of the Christmas tree on Christmas morning, sporting a fluffy pink sweater that matched the influencer’s pink pajamas.
As Asia sat and listened patiently, Earle read her a heartfelt letter about her impact on her life.
“I don’t know much about your life before you ended up in the shelter, but I want you to know every day, minute, second you spent waiting for your forever home was worth it,” Earle said to Asia in the video. “495 days you patiently waited until I came to look for a foster. As much as I’ve been there to help you, you’ve helped me and you’ve given me a best buddy for life, so I wanted to tell you: you’re adopted!”
Earle’s family then cheered behind the camera as she showed off the adopted certificate and Asia wagged her tail excitedly.
In the comments, Earle’s fans shared their excitement as well.
“Asia I knew you were meant to be an Earle. 😭❤️,” one fan commented on the post.
“Asia will always know you saved her. Thank you for rescuing and promoting rescue 🙌,” commented The Dogist, a popular dog photographer account.
Asia had a long road to finally finding her true forever home.
Earle had first taken Asia in as a foster dog back in February, and thought she had adopted her out to her forever family at the end of the month.
However, after a few months with her adoptive family, Asia unfortunately injured her leg, tearing her ACL.
After Earle reached out to offer help, she and Asia’s adoptive mom decided it would be best for Earle to take the pup back and care for her leading up to her surgery, and be the one to help her recover.
Asia’s leg surgery was successful back in September, and she has continued staying with Earle ever since.
As soon as Asia returned to Earle’s care in August, her fans began to suspect she would keep the dog permanently after her surgery.
On the August 19 video where Earle explained she would be taking Asia back, fans flooded the comments saying Earle should keep her.
“Girl this is your sign. You HAVE to adopt her!” one commenter said.
“This gave me all the chills. You are a beautiful soul for taking Asia girl back in your care. She’ll be so loved and nurtured by you and I truly believe you were both meant to be together!” another fan commented on the post.
Now it seems Earle’s followers were correct in predicting Asia had found her loving forever home with the influencer.
