Hugh Grant Stops Short Of Calling The View Hosts Ugly to Their Faces During Show Appearance
During his appearance on “The View” on Thursday, actor Hugh Grant made a subtle jab at two of the five panelists on the ABC talk show, highlighting how much our world has transformed over the past few years.
“There’s no kissing anymore, right? No, no kissing,” Grant said. “Kissing stopped. Yeah, because of COVID. Yeah, I do have a lot of COVID, so that’s probably why.”
“Did you want to kiss us?” one of the hosts asked. “We’ll make an exception for you, because if you want to kiss us, we’ll do it.”
Grant jabbed, “I wanted to kiss three of you.”
The British actor was invited to the show to discuss his viral moment at the Oscars. However, before the discussion began, Grant acknowledged his awkward entry onto the set.
