Scorching Takes: Dems Soften Down Over Kennedy Heart Title Change – Ric Grenell Ranges Them With Actuality

As we reported, the board of the Kennedy Center voted to add President Donald Trump’s name to the Center after the efforts he made to help restore the renowned arts venue. 





But it’s a bit like the craziness over the White House ballroom. Trump gets a ballroom for free that the nation can use forever, and Democrats attack. Adding Trump’s name is their current excuse for melting down, and folks on the right are enjoying tantrums. 

The hot takes on the left were something to see, starting with this guy who said he was a resident of Washington, D.C., but thinks “democracy died today” because of this. 

I didn’t know democracy died because Trump saved the Kennedy Center. And we’re not a pure democracy for a reason; we’re a constitutional republic. 





Then there was Jim Acosta, the former CNN character, losing his mind. This is hilarious, as he reports from “the scene of the crime.” And he turned off his comments on X, so he wouldn’t have to hear from the folks laughing at him. 

Who is he reporting for, anyway? Trump has broken him. 

Kennedy Center head, Ric Grenell, had a little fun with him. 

The White House Deputy Press Secretary, Abigail Jackson, noted that maybe the media was trying to deflect from some of the other visuals that were dropping on Friday.

Then there were the meltdowns for some of the Kennedy family, including Maria Shriver, saying it was named after her uncle. 





But that’s when Grenell schooled her, saying the building had been falling apart and they didn’t help at all.

Democrats want to talk, but it’s Trump who is putting in the work to restore the building. If they cared so much, where have they been? 

We’ve written before about how Grenell discovered the horrible state the Center’s finances were in as well.

Kerry Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy Jr’s sister, even threatened to take a “pickax” to the letters spelling out Trump’s name on the building at the end of Trump’s term. And she, too, cut off comments. 





Except, of course, there’s a small problem with her assertion. She thinks she will be able to do that after Trump’s term. But what’s she going to do if it’s President JD Vance next? 

Again, Grenell did some schooling, saying she should be thanking them instead. 

The Center is a public institution, not a family-owned entity.
