Has RHONY's Jessel Taank Had Plastic Surgery? Quotes
Real Housewives of New York star Jessel Taank has been candid when it comes to her thoughts about plastic surgery, as well as whether or not she’s used the weight loss drug Ozempic.
What Has Jessel Taank Said About Getting Plastic Surgery?
“I think that when you’re in reality TV, it’s so natural to be like, ‘Oh, she got plastic surgery or she did this or she’s on Ozempic,’” Jessel told Journalposts at Hayu FanFest in London, England, on October 27, 2024.
“I think it’s just the natural reaction to people who make positive change, physically or otherwise,” she noted why fans speculated about whether she had work done.
To date, Jessel has not spoken publicly about whether she’s had any plastic surgery procedures or cosmetic work, despite fan speculation about Botox use.
What Has Jessel Taank Said About Using Ozempic?
“I actually f–king hate Ozempic. I would never put needles in myself,” she explained to the outlet. Her needles comment also seemed to imply she didn’t use Botox or facial fillers, as both are injectables.
How Does Jessel Taank Deal With Online Haters?
“Obviously social media and that sort of wave of overwhelming feedback, it can be quite harsh at times,” Jessel told Journalposts about how she takes on haters. “I learned to block it out and I actually think these people are really funny because some of the stuff they say is so insane.”
The Bravolebrity added, “Now, I actually just laugh at the comments and I read all of them and I’m like, ‘Oh, I’m so sorry that you’re so sad.’”
How Jessel Taank Addressed Her Post-Baby Weight Gain
The reality star revealed in her second episode as a cast member during RHONY‘s season 14 that she and husband Pavit Randhawa hadn’t had sex since she gave birth to her twin sons, Kai and Rio, in May 2021. Jessel explained in August 2023 that the reason why was because she wasn’t feeling like herself after putting on baby weight.
“There was a lot going on in my body at the time. With hormones, how your body changes, putting on weight, I was feeling very self-conscious. I just didn’t feel emotionally strong and physically strong, to be honest,” the former Michael Kors publicist told Marie Claire. “[Pavit] was unreal throughout the whole process. There’s something to say about a man that stands by someone and doesn’t need that physical reinforcement. He was just a pillar, a rock of strength for me.”
“I think it’s important to say to moms who are new moms, that conversation of what postpartum looks like, it’s not easy. You don’t just snap back into it and be like, ‘Okay, let me just get on with my life.’” she continued. “Your body changes. You’re tired all the time. You are trying to figure out what’s next for you career-wise or otherwise, and your relationship with your spouse changes because there’s another element that’s introduced to it. It affects how you are. You’re not the same. I said bye to the girl that I was pre-kids. I had a funeral for her.”
