Hamas Stole Aid from the UN, and Now the UN Is Rushing to Cover It Up

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees, located in Gaza, was robbed recently, with a large stockpile of fuel being taken.

According to the UNRWA, which put out a statement on Monday, trucks purporting to be from the “Ministry of Health” from the “de facto authorities in Gaza” removed the fuel and medical equipment from the organization’s staging area.

Who are the “de facto authorities in Gaza?” That would be Hamas, though the UN agency is very careful not to mention them by name because they have long been quasi-allies. Not surprisingly, soon after the thread was posted, it was deleted.

Israeli Minister Israel Katz responded by saying that aid should not be sent to Gaza until Hamas is eliminated.

Or in other words – Hamas is robbing the “humanitarian aid” to the Palestinian people. There’s no reason to give them anything until we eliminate Nazi Hamas.

The chances that the stolen fuel will be used for anything but helping Hamas’ combat operations are essentially zero. Hamas has long stolen humanitarian aid and repurposed civilian infrastructure projects in order to bolster its war machine. Recently, the terrorist group and ruling authority of Gaza put out a heavily produced video bragging about digging up the area’s water pipes to produce rockets. In other words, there’s nothing surprising about this raid, which will ultimately lead to the deaths of more Palestinians by prolonging the war and depriving them of basic necessities (the fuel was to be used to power the desalination of water).

What’s more interesting here is how much of a subservient apparatchik the UN has become for Hamas. Why was that statement deleted when it obviously shared factual information? That’s a rhetorical question. The UN has long been a hotbed of anti-Semitism that serves the interests of various terrorist groups, and none more than Hamas. The UN’s targeting of Israel over the decades has reached parodic levels, with countries like Iran being allowed to wag their fingers as members of the organization’s “human rights council.”

Luckily, the internet is forever, and the receipts have been kept. Hamas is putting its own people in danger, and no amount of deleting statements will change that.
