TOP O’ THE MORNIN’
Ben Shapiro Took on 25 Kamala Harris Voters in a Debate, and the Results Were Incredible
What race, sex, or sexual orientation someone is does nothing to help people. It holds zero sway in lowering prices, handling foreign affairs, or securing the border.
Mel Gibson Was Asked Why He Thinks a Kamala Harris Presidency Would Be a Bad Thing, and Hoo-Boy
Perhaps we should not look to artists for guidance on matters that are not their expertise, but it still is encouraging to hear likeminded beliefs coming from some of the most talented people of our time.
The Most Important Thing Tucker Carlson Said in Georgia
This is going to take a lot of work, but if we stick to fighting the war, it can be won handily. We have the numbers, we just have to have the will.
WHAT’S ON TAP?
Today on Capitol Hill…
Sen. Deb Fischer (R) is locked in a tight race for her Nebraska Senate seat against Independent challenger Dan Osborn. Former GOP Rep. Fred Upton (MI) has endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris in the presidential race (for all those waiting with bated breath for the coveted Upton endorsement).
White House What’s Up
President Joe Biden is in Arizona, where he’s scheduled to deliver remarks at the Gila River Indian Community in Arizona in the early afternoon. He’s set to apologize for 150 years of the U.S. government’s boarding school policy for Native American children before heading back to Wilmington, Delaware.
The Homestretch
Harris is in Houston, Texas, where she’s set to record an interview in the afternoon and then deliver remarks at a campaign event. First Lady Jill Biden is attending a couple of campaign events in North Carolina on Friday. Former President Barack Obama will campaign in North Carolina as well. Harris running mate Minnesota Governor Tim Walz is campaigning in Pennsylvania on Friday.
Former President Donald Trump is holding a rally in Traverse City, Michigan, Friday evening. He’ll round out the weekend with another rally in Novi, Michigan, on Saturday, followed by a rally in State College, Pennsylvania, Saturday evening. Then, Sunday evening is the big Madison Square Garden event in New York. His running mate, Ohio Senator JD Vance, is campaigning in North Carolina on Friday and Atlanta, Georgia, on Saturday.
Full Court Press…
The Menendez brothers are getting another bite at the sentencing apple.
Ex-Ambercrombie & Finch CEO Mike Jeffries is being arraigned on Friday on sex trafficking charges.
Still no decision handed down from the New York appellate court on Trump’s civil fraud appeal. Maybe next week? (Or maybe they’re just going to sit on it until after the election — starting to seem that way.)
MORNING MUSING
I know I sound like a broken record but discernment is so needed right now. Y’all know there are going to be all manner of rumors flying right and left. Don’t bite on the ones that sound too good to be true — they likely are. And when the right runs with a faulty rumor that proves false (like, objectively false, not fake fact-checker false), that comes right back and bites us. By the same token, don’t allow the ones that sound ominous to render you dispirited. Stand firm. Stay true. Vote.
