Fani Willis’ Lawyer Donated To Anti-Trump Propaganda Pushers, National Pulse Reports ⋆ JP
(Natural News) An exclusive report by the radically independent news outlet, The National Pulse, indicated that Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis’s lawyer Anna Cross regularly donates to the state of Georgia’s Democrat Senators, Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock, as well as to President Joe Biden, and has also sent money to the viciously anti-Trump “Lincoln Project.”
Cross represents Willis as well as the key special prosecutor and attorney in former President Donald Trump’s 2020 election interference case Nathan Wade, who admitted to having a personal relationship with Willis. The said “demolition project for Trump” claims to be dedicated to the preservation, protection and defense of democracy.”
“Since our launch in December 2019, the ‘Lincoln Project’ has played a unique role in American politics. We entered the political arena with two objectives: first, to defeat Donald Trump at the ballot box in 2020. (Done.) The second was to ensure Trumpism failed alongside him. We understand that the real fight against Trumpism is just beginning and we’re committed to seeing it through. Our democracy depends on it,” their website stated.
Willis and Wade are currently facing disqualification from Georgia’s Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) prosecution of the former president and his supposed “allies” for allegedly interfering in the 2020 presidential election. Will Donald Trump win the 2024 election?
Meanwhile, Cross was also appointed as a special prosecutor on the mentioned RICO case. “While it is not unusual for attorneys like Cross, who are active in state politics, to make partisan contributions, they do typically tend to avoid supporting highly partisan non-profit groups such as ‘Indivisible Action,’” Pulse reported. She also donated to the said left-cult organization that has 3,000 local groups under its umbrella. Their main purpose is to “extricate Trump from his 2024 election bid.”
Critics also raised a possible “conflict of interest” with Cross’ husband, Lance Cross, who reportedly has been serving as the Chief Senior Assistant District Attorney for Fulton County since 2008. The couple has been alleged to have a close-tie relationship with Willis, suggesting a possible “secret connivance” to ensure Trump stays away from 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington D.C.
Wade’s SMS to Willis could “sink or save” her in Trump’s case: former FBI general counsel
Further touching on conflict of interest, Andrew Weissmann, the former general counsel for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), said that messages between “couple” Wade and Willis could be key in determining whether she is disqualified from Trump’s election interference case.
Former Trump staffer and co-defendant Michael Roman accused Willis of having an affair with Wade, saying that both benefited financially from taxpayers’ money. The pair later admitted they had a romantic relationship, but denied a conflict of interest. In response, Roman said that the pair’s relationship started earlier than they had disclosed. After the latest hearing, Judge Scott McAfee said he would review text messages sent between Wade and his former law partner Terrence Bradley. Trump’s team said that the messages show Wade committed perjury over his disclosures about when his relationship with Willis started.
According to Weissmann, the judge would have to keep an eye out for uncontradicted evidence of Willis-Wade going Dutch (the issue the judge said he cared about). “Will that change? New evidence Wade did use cash apps [which Willis says she believed he didn’t use, so she paid in cash]?” he said, adding “Will the judge admit Wade’s attorney’s texts and, if so, do they contradict the Wade-Willis testimony re: when the personal relationship started?”
Barbara McQuade, former U.S. attorney under the Barack Obama administration wrote on X, formerly Twitter, on Sunday: “Fani Willis made a terrible decision to date Nathan Wade, and that may bring ethics issues for her, but her testimony dispelled any kickback scheme that would disqualify her. Nothing about this affects the fair trial rights of Trump and co-defendants.”
Willis is running the case against Trump and 18 others who are accused in a 41-count indictment of trying to overturn his 2020 election loss in Georgia. Trump pleaded not guilty to all 13 charges against him and has said the case is politically motivated because he is the frontrunner for the GOP presidential nomination. If Willis is removed from the case, another district attorney, or state Attorney General Christopher Carr, a Republican, could take over the prosecution. If she gets removed, critics say that the case could be further delayed.
