Elon Musk Savages War-Hawk John Bolton for Critizing Trump's Cabinet Picks: “DO THE OPPOSITE” of Whatever He Recommends
Tech entrepreneur Elon Musk laid into former Trump National Security Advisor John Bolton after he recently complained about President-elect Donald Trump’s new cabinet picks.
Bolton was so upset by the soon-to-be 47th president’s recent nomination of Matt Gatez that he called it “the worst cabinet pick in history.”
“The Senate’s new leadership should tell the President-elect that he is endangering Republican Senators by forcing a vote in favor of Gaetz’s nomination. The leadership should insist that this nomination be withdrawn,” Bolton said.
He then demanded the Senate to unanimously reject the nominations of both Gaetz and Tulsi Gabbard.
“These nominations are reckless and should be opposed at all costs,” Bolton argued.
Musk responded to Bolton’s comments, writing on x:
“Just do the opposite of whatever Bolton recommends .”
Trump’s Cabinet picks are causing a stir among establishment politicians, with his decision to nominate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as Secretary of Health drawing harsh criticism from detractors.
Trump made it clear that his Cabinet choices reflect his agenda, with Tulsi Gabbard pledging to focus on national security reform and counterintelligence efforts as Director of National Intelligence.
“With his announcement of Tulsi Gabbard to be the director of national intelligence, he’s sending a signal that we have lost our mind when it comes to collecting intelligence,” Bolton said.
“Up until a few hours ago, I would have said that was the worst Cabinet appointment in recent American history. Of course, since Matt Gaetz’s nomination, he clearly has taken the lead on that score.”
“It’s not an indication that the administration is serious about one of the most important aspects of dealing with a threat like China, which is intelligence,” he said.
