Elon Musk Destroys Liz Cheney's Presidential Endorsement with ONE Tweet from 2020
Tesla CEO Elon Musk reacted to former Republican congresswoman Liz Cheney‘s endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris in the upcoming 2024 presidential election by retweeting a 2020 post highlighting her hypocrisy.
During a speaking engagement at Duke University in North Carolina on Wednesday, Cheney sparked a backlash from Conservatives over he decision to endorse a candidate with such “radical and dangerous” views.
ANOTHER FLIP-FLOP: Shortly after former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) announced her VP Harris endorsement, the Trump campaign surfaced a video in which Cheney called Harris a “radical liberal.” https://t.co/xeqOZNIdi3 pic.twitter.com/lnahc6HqPs

Other X users flooded the post with comments blasting Cheney for her previous remarks.
She has no choice but to double down. If Trump gets in I think there are a lot of people who are going to get crushed by the information that gets put out there. The best is he’s been there before and now he’s had four years to plan. People are nervous.

During her address, Cheney emphasized the critical nature of the upcoming election:
“Because we are here in North Carolina, I think it is crucially important for people to recognize not only is what I have said about the danger that Trump poses something that should prevent people from voting for him, but I don’t believe that we have the luxury of writing in candidates’ names, particularly in swing states,” Cheney stated.
The former congresswoman explained her decision to endorse Harris by citing her so-called conservative beliefs and concern for the Constitution.
“As a conservative and as someone who believes in and cares about the Constitution, I have thought deeply about this, and because of the danger that Donald Trump poses, not only am I not voting for Donald Trump but I am voting for Kamala Harris,” she declared.
CLAIM: Liz Cheney endorses Kamala Harris because Donald Trump is “dangerous.”
TRUTH: Liz Cheney is a sellout who once warned about how dangerous Kamala Harris would be for America.

Meanwhile, retired Republican lawmaker and former Pennsylvania Sen. Pat Toomey told CNBC that he would not vote for either Trump or Harris, acknowledging the contest as a “binary choice.”
Harris has been making overtures to Republicans and Independents, signaling she is willing to chart an independent course.
During a CNN interview, she said she would consider including a Republican in her cabinet if elected, The Daily Mail reported.
The Trump campaign responded to Cheney’s announcement by sharing a clip of her previous criticism of Harris.
In the clip, Cheney described Harris as someone whose “voting record in the Senate is to the left of Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren.”
Kamala Harris was rated the most liberal member of the U.S. Senate — even further to the left than Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren.
