DOJ Releases Explosive Footage in Case Against Milwaukee Judge Accused of Aiding Illegal Alien Escape
A Wisconsin judge who was recently indicted for allegedly protecting an illegal alien from federal agents has hit the headlines again after new footage of the incident was released to the public.
As we reported in April, Milwaukee County Judge Hannah Dugan was arrested after being accused of obstruction of justice for allegedly concealing illegal alien Eduardo Flores-Ruiz, who was implicated in a vicious assault, from arrest following a pre-trial detention hearing.
Dugan now faces a maximum of up to 10 years in prison if convicted on both counts laid out in the indictment.
Footage of the incident shows Dugan, dressed in black robes, speaking to federal agents who were attending a pre-trial detention hearing in order to take Flores-Ruiz into custody.
The footage, released by Milwaukee County through an open records request, shows agents walking down a hallway after being directed through a door by Judge Dugan.

Prosecutors say this shows Dugan was attempting to distract the agents as they were trying to make the arrest.
The video also shows Flores-Ruiz and his attorney exiting the courtroom through a restricted exit, often used by jurors, not long after ICE agents left the building.
One agent could be seen following Flores-Ruiz as he entered an elevator and later left the building.
Flores-Ruiz is later seen running for about a block before being nabbed by ICE agents.
Dugan was arrested a week later and was indicted by a grand jury on May 13.
Her attorneys, citing judicial immunity for her official acts, later filed a motion to dismiss the case.
The judge pleaded not guilty to the charges and will appear in court on July 9 for a pretrial hearing.
Dugan’s attorneys stated that the judge would plead not guilty and intends to prove her innocence.
“As she said after her unnecessary arrest, Judge Dugan asserts her innocence and looks forward to being vindicated in court,” they said.
