Did Megan Fox Receive Credit on Ex Machine Gun Kelly’s Lost Americana Album? The Truth
Megan Fox is transforming her résumé.
After all, the Jennifer’s Body star can now add musical writer and composer after Machine Gun Kelly dropped his new album Lost Americana.
Indeed, Megan was given the impressive credits on her ex-fiancé’s song “orpheus,” the 13th track on the Aug. 8 project, according to Spotify and Genius.
The heartbreaking ballad follows the tragic story of Orpheus—considered one of the saddest Greek mythological legends—as he travels to the underworld to bring back his wife Eurydice after she dies.
A story of patience, Hades and Persephone agree to let his love return with him if he does not look at her until they are topside. However, a doubtful Orpheus eventually looks back at her too soon and loses Eurydice forever.
“I’ll find Hell to be trapped into,” MGK sings. “To get back to you / Just for this moment, can I hold you? / Feel your heartbeat ’til it fades / And in this moment, it’s me and you only / I will love you for all my days.”
