“All the events, rally’s, interviews, social posts….. I did for free.”

Danica Patrick revealed Tuesday that she wasn’t paid anything by the Trump campaign to appear at the now-President-elect’s rallies as she slammed Kamala Harris for allegedly paying millions for Megan Thee Stallion to perform at campaign events. Harris finished her election campaign $20 million in debt and losing to Donald Trump.

On Tuesday, Danica responded to the allegation that Megan Thee Stallion was given $5 million for performing at a Harris event and noted, “All the events, rally’s, interviews, social posts….. I did for free. Actually spent a fair amount on wardrobe.” She noted that, unlike Megan, twerking wasn’t part of her free deal with Trump.

Patrick, who drove on the NASCAR circuit, was an avid supporter of Trump and spoke at a Lititz, PA rally and traveled with the now-President-elect in the days leading up to November 5.

According to the Washington Times, at least $20 million was shelled out for celebrity performances at campaign events including performances from rapper 2 Chainz in Georgia as well as the Isley Brothers in Wisconsin. $15 million of that was spent on “event production” and other expenses coincided with performances from Bon Jovi, Lady Gaga, and others.

Patrick, when she appeared in Pennsylvania at a November 3 Trump rally, told the audience, “I want to live in a country where I can say I love this country and I’m not making a political stand. I want to wear a t-shirt that says, ‘Proud American,’ and it isn’t telling people that I’m making a political stand about being a Republican.”

“When I was a kid, I wore this cool leather jacket with an American flag on the back and USA down the arm. Somebody out there has had that right? If I wore that today, I’d be making a political stand,” she added at the time. In the days leading up to the election, she posted a variety of pictures from her experience on the road with the Trump campaign as well as on Election Night seeing Trump’s victory.

Throughout the Harris campaign, the Vice President also courted Lizzo, Eminem, and other celebrities on campaign stops. She also appeared for an interview with Oprah that the campaign reportedly spent $1 million on.
