Christina Hall Shares Josh Hall Divorce Update, Going to Trial
Christina Haack (previously known as Christina Hall) and Josh Hall’s divorce may be heading to the courtroom.
The Christina on the Coast star, 41, said she and her estranged husband, 44, were “not even close” to settling their divorce during the January 9 episode of Radio Andy’s Jeff Lewis Live.
“We’re going to be going to trial I hear,” she added.
Christina claimed that Josh “doesn’t want to do mediation” and inferred that he was slowing the process down.
“It’s going to be fun,” the HGTV star continued. “Can’t wait.”
Josh and Christina both filed for divorce in July 2024 after more than two years of marriage. The real estate professional asked for spousal support in his filing and requested that Christina’s right to alimony be terminated. He also asked that his ex pay his attorney fees. Meanwhile, Christina requested that neither party be granted alimony.
“[The court hasn’t] ordered me yet but he’s been asking me [for money],” Christina told Jeff Lewis on his radio show. “I’ve already had to give a little something but then he bought a Bentley. I gave him money to live and he bought a Bentley but he also doesn’t have a job so.”
In response to the interview, Josh’s spokesperson told Journalposts, “Hall is not available for comment, as he’s continuing to live his life in the present and celebrating his beautiful new girlfriend’s birthday.”
The statement continued, “With that said, it’s sad Christina must resort to low blows about her ex Josh to promote her new show. She should focus on her new boyfriend and stop talking about Josh. As the great Mariah Carey once sang, ‘Why you so obsessed with me?’ We wish Christina the best.”
Josh’s rep concluded, “Christina knows nothing about Josh’s life, and it’s sad she keeps speculating. Her accusations are baseless.”
Both Christina and Josh have reportedly moved on to new relationships amid their divorce — the former with Network Connex CEO Christopher LaRocca and the latter with model Stephanie Gabrys.
Despite the new romances, the former couple has continued to be tied up in drama surrounding their split. Prior to their divorce filings, Josh and Christina were slated to appear together on her new HGTV show, The Flip Off, which premieres on January 29. However, a source told Journalposts days after their split that production was “moving forward” without Josh.
Christina later told Journalposts that Josh was “very hard to film with” in the time that he was working on The Flip Off.
“He’d always get upset with me, like, ‘Oh, my gosh, you did this,’ or ‘You did that.’ And I’m like, ‘I’m making a TV show,’” she said on January 9. “Ultimately, it was better that he left after episode 1 because the show would’ve sucked.”
Meanwhile, Josh claimed that the show “manufactured” drama between him and Christina.
“[That feeling when] you can’t get enough ratings with celebrity designers, so you rely on manufactured drama with me, a nobody. @hgtv, you’ve changed,” he wrote over a screenshot of an article teasing a “tense fight” between them on the show.
Christina disputed Josh’s claim, writing on her own Instagram Stories, “Pretty sure no one at Hgtv told you to be rude to me … That was all natural.”
