President Donald Trump announced on Friday that he was moving to reverse all executive orders and documents from his predecessor, former President Joe Biden, that were signed with autopen technology.
“Any document signed by Sleepy Joe Biden with the Autopen, which was approximately 92% of them, is hereby terminated, and of no further force or effect,” the president announced in a Truth Social post.
“The Autopen is not allowed to be used if approval is not specifically given by the President of the United States. The Radical Left Lunatics circling Biden around the beautiful Resolute Desk in the Oval Office took the Presidency away from him. I am hereby cancelling all Executive Orders, and anything else that was not directly signed by Crooked Joe Biden, because the people who operated the Autopen did so illegally,” the post continued.
“Joe Biden was not involved in the Autopen process and, if he says he was, he will be brought up on charges of perjury. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”
The former president’s use of autopen technology has been the subject of intense controversy due to obvious signs of cognitive decline — which were verifiably covered up by senior aides and allies — throughout Biden’s tenure. The Trump Administration and congressional Republicans have launched multiple investigations into the matter, which has led to subpoenas for a number of the former president’s senior aides.
Investigators have been reviewing relevant documents related to Biden’s presidency and use of the autopen over several years in an effort to “bring transparency to the American people regarding the former president’s health,” Fox News reported back in July. In total, the review is expected to cover more than one-million documents from the Biden presidency.

An autopen is an electromechanical device designed to replicate a person’s signature with precision. It can be used by high-ranking officials, including U.S. presidents, to sign large volumes of documents without requiring their direct involvement. While it is legally recognized in certain cases, its use in signing critical legal documents—especially without clear oversight—has prompted questions about authenticity and accountability.
According to a report from the Oversight Project, an arm of the Heritage Foundation, every document bearing Biden’s signature—except for the letter announcing his withdrawal from the 2024 race—appears to have been signed by an autopen. The findings have put a spotlight on Biden’s cognitive state and whether unelected officials were making decisions on his behalf.
