Bonnie Blue’s Response After Bali ‘Bang Bus’ Arrest Sparks Outrage

Bonnie Blue isn’t backing down — even after being arrested in Bali — and her first public comment made that very clear.

The 26-year-old adult content creator, whose real name is Tia Billinger, broke her silence after being arrested in Bali on suspicion of violating local morality laws. Her five-word message came as she was escorted into the Ngurah Rai Immigration Office in Jimbaran, where a reporter asked whether she planned to continue creating explicit content in Bali. Her response was simple: “Subscribe and you’ll find out.”

Indonesian authorities arrested Billinger during a raid at a rented studio last Thursday, and she could face up to 15 years in prison or a £270,000 fine under the country’s strict anti-pornography laws. Police allege that she and a group of male tourists — at least 17 men, ages 19 to 40 from the U.K. and Australia — had been filming explicit content around the island. The group reportedly traveled together in a chartered bus during Australia’s “schoolies week,” which locals nicknamed the “bang bus.”

During the raid, authorities say they seized cameras, lighting equipment, costumes, condoms, pink necklaces, lubricant and even Viagra. Billinger was released shortly afterward but had her passport confiscated, and she remains under investigation as officials review evidence and determine potential next steps. Immigration officials told local outlets that they still need to “follow up on several things that were found by police,” and deportation remains a possibility.

Fourteen of the detained tourists were released without charges, while two Britons and an Australian man were held longer for additional questioning. Police said the group had allegedly been producing “content containing pornographic or immoral elements.” As for the much-discussed bus, Billinger later confirmed in a video that the project was “over.”

Meanwhile, Australian creator Annie Knight told the Mail that she had previously warned Billinger about the risks of filming explicit content in Bali. “I did try to warn her of the consequences of filming pornographic content in Bali,” she said. “That being said, I hope she’s okay as being arrested in another country must be a terrifying experience and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone.”

Billinger has never shied away from controversy. Earlier this year, she made headlines after being banned from OnlyFans and appearing in Channel 4’s documentary 1,000 Men and Me, where she claimed to have slept with 1,057 men in 12 hours. Now, attention is once again on her as Bali authorities determine what comes next.
