Biden’s terrorist-friendly border coverage: Letters to the Editor — Dec. 13, 2025
The Issue: Around 18,000 terrorists entering the United States during former President Joe Biden’s term.
Today we are seeing the result of former President Joe Biden granting thousands of immigrants access to America without adequate vetting (“Joe let in 18K fiends,” Dec. 12).
It is obvious that to save Afghans who might have been US allies, Biden allowed the infiltration of terrorists into America.
We need to be careful when granting status to people who believe suicide vests and killing National Guard troops are acceptable religious and political activity.

In 2021, Republicans and right-wing media outlets were condemning Biden for abandoning Afghans who had served in the pro-US Afghan army to the Taliban.
Now that a veteran of a CIA-directed special Afghan army unit, who was properly admitted alongside many other Afghan allies, has gone off the deep end, the same voices on the right are denouncing Biden for admitting any Afghans at all.
The hypocrisy is mind-boggling.

According to the National Counterterrorism Center, Biden allowed up to 18,000 known or suspected terrorists into the country.
This is so unconscionable.
If you consider the fact that 19 terrorists killed nearly 3,000 people on 9/11, you can assume that Biden opened up the opportunity for over 2 million deaths from a mass-casualty terrorist attack.
Every morning I wake up and think: Is this the day Biden’s chickens come home to roost and America pays the price?
What’s perhaps most insane about this is that, as a senator in 2002, Biden voted for pre-emptive war to prevent a terrorist attack on US soil, only to later become president and roll out the red carpet for this doomsday scenario.

Biden was the absolute worst president we’ve ever had.
He destroyed our country in four years, and we’ll be lucky if the destruction can be corrected in 10 years.
We must vet all illegal migrants who are here now, including those whom Biden granted some legal status.
Each immigrant that arrived while Biden was in office must be reviewed and deported if they entered illegally.
It seems they want to turn our country into the hellholes they came from.

It’s very clear that Biden and his top aides couldn’t have cared less about the chaos his border policy caused, all because they didn’t want to alienate lefty voters.
The fact that Biden didn’t close the border until close to Election Day 2024 tells you all you need to know about what was important to him and his aides.

The Issue: The negative impact of congestion pricing on the affordability of New York City.
Gov. Hochul’s claim that drivers are warming up to the congestion tax is only true for one small group of drivers: the wealthy (“Hochul’s Haughty Toll Advice,” Editorial, Dec. 6).
Congestion tolls make driving a privilege of the rich who are happy to pay for reduced traffic. The rest of us — the working people — bear the brunt.

Congestion pricing is a bad idea.
It didn’t change traffic patterns, so it’s just as crowded in New York City as it’s always been.
The only difference since congestion pricing was implemented are the fees being passed on to customers by businesses in the affected zone.
Deliveries, retail and everything else has gotten more expensive.
The toll is just another inept liberal idea by an inept liberal governor.
President Trump said he would stop it, which is another promise broken.
