Becca Tilley Has Simply Proposed To Hayley Kiyoko
Becca Tilley has also proposed to her fiancée, Hayley Kiyoko.
The Bachelor alum revealed on Instagram on December 12 that she asked Kiyoko to marry her during a trip to Kyoto, Japan.
“To forever & everywhere with you 💍🇯🇵 (She said yes!),” Becca shared in her post, prompting an outpouring of love from fellow Bachelor Nation stars.
Former bachelorette JoJo Fletcher commented, “WAS WAITING FOR THESE TO DROP!! Emotional all over again. LOVE YOU BOTH SO MUCH!!!! ❤️❤️.” Another former Bachelorette Hannah Brown added, “Congratulations!!!!!! 🤍🤍🤍.”
Tilley and Kiyoko have been together for more than seven years, first meeting at the singer’s Expectations release party in April 2018.
Early on, the pair kept their relationship private.
In 2019, Tilley told Journalposts, “I like that [my relationship is] private and that it’s my own. I had a public relationship before and it just felt like I had a lot of people involved… I’m really happy and I hope to eventually start opening up about it more, but I’m happy with it being private right now.”
Fans were thrilled when the couple publicly confirmed their relationship in May 2022. Kiyoko released the music video for her song “For The Girls,” which starred Tilley, sending Bachelor Nation into a frenzy.
Shortly after, Tilley wrote on Twitter on May 20, 2022, “3rd time’s a charm 🌹. So so happy 🥰.”
Tilley also shared footage on Instagram of their previous four years together, captioning it: “hard to say if this is a hard or soft launch, but it is a launch ❤️.”
One month later, Kiyoko told People that going public felt “overwhelmed in the best way.” She added, “I mean, we lived a very normal life. It just wasn’t on social media. We lived very open. And we’ve been together for four years, but now it’s on social media. And now we get to share with the world. It’s just been really nice—we’ve had so much love and support.”
She continued, “I think people love love… I think a lot of people are shocked that we were able to keep it private for four years. But I think people are… it’s really cool that people root for my happiness and our happiness and our relationships. So it’s really humbling and overwhelming in the best way.”
In July 2025, Kiyoko proposed to Tilley, sharing on Instagram, “My dream girl said yes to forever…” alongside emotional photos of the couple embracing.
Now, it was Becca’s turn to propose and she got her own “yes.”
