Australian Cops Cowardly Conceal Behind Automobile, Bodily Restrain Bondi Terror Survivor from Preventing Again as Daughter Flees Gunfire

Bondi Beach terror survivor Vanessa Miller says police hid and physically stopped her from fighting back while gunmen sprayed bullets and her three-year-old daughter was missing in the chaos.

Miller told Australian host Erin Molan that she became separated from her daughter Gigi as terrorists opened fire on families at the Bondi foreshore. She recalled screaming, “Where is my baby? Where’s my baby?” while others begged her to stay quiet so the shooters would not hear her.

According to Miller, two officers were nearby—one critically wounded and another uninjured but crouched behind a car. “These police officers were hiding behind a car,” she said, adding that she tried to grab the wounded officer’s rifle so she could “suppress the terrorists.” Instead of shooting back, “another one grabbed me and said ‘no,’” she recounted.

Miller accused the officers of holding her as the attack continued. “You are weak. You could have saved so many more people’s lives,” she said, alleging they “were just watching this all happen, holding me back.” During those moments, Gigi ran alone through the blood-soaked walkway until a pregnant woman threw herself over the child and shielded her with her own body.

Her testimony has intensified public anger over the New South Wales police response, with other witnesses also describing officers who appeared frozen while civilians took the real risks to protect children. Miller says those who stopped her now “have blood on their hands” and should answer for why a terrified mother was more willing to confront terrorists than the men with badges and guns.
