ASAP Rocky 'Takes a Lot of Pride' in Men 'Drooling' Over Rihanna (EXCL)
With ASAP Rocky’s hair-raising trial well in the rear-view, Rihanna is strutting her stuff and looking more glam than ever as a source exclusively tells Life & Style she has a new lease on life right now and is actively being encouraged to embrace and show off her sexy side by her doting baby daddy.
“Rocky is crazy about her curves, he loves every inch of her, and he also loves seeing her show it off,” the insider says.
The couple have been together since November 2020 and welcomed their first kid, RZA, in May 2022, followed by Riot in August 2024. They’ve been in lock-step about most issues a couple could face, from how to parent their kids to their blended fashion sense. Rocky, 36, has never been shy about going public with his admiration for Riri, 37. He gushed she was “the love of my life” in an interview with GQ, adding she inspires him constantly, both personally in their day-to-day lives and professionally as a creative.
“He takes a lot of pride in having such a sexy woman, watching men drooling over her doesn’t make him the least bit jealous, for him it’s a flex,” the insider says. Both trend-setters in the own right, Rocky and Rihanna are known to push boundaries when it comes to fashion in particular and, when coupled with the fact the “Peso” rapper has long expressed his Bajan beauty’s confidence and independent nature is a serious turn on, results in Rihanna taking daring risks with her pieces.
It’s worked so far. Her Fenty lines have dominated niche markets, the most recent being a maternity collection from SAVAGE x FENTY, which she claimed came about from her own stubborn need to look her best as often as possible.
“When I found out I was pregnant, I thought to myself, there’s no way I’m going to go shopping in no maternity aisle,” the “Diamonds” singer told Vogue in 2022. “I’m sorry — it’s too much fun to get dressed up.”
“She’s always been body confident but now that she’s had kids, she’s even more proud of her body,” the insider says.
For Rocky’s part, the source adds, “He’s very into fashion and loves helping style her.” But if the creation of life isn’t enough to make demands of Rihanna’s sense of style, ASAP Rocky has little chance. “Not that he’s telling her what to wear,” the insider assures, “She’s the one deciding and in full power, but it’s something she enjoys too.”
The couple does collaborate on looks quite often and have made headlines with many of their high-profile appearances, including at the Met Gala and Paris Fashion Week, where they’re both staples. But most of their time is spent on family, which doesn’t require glitz and glam, but does make their rare outings all the more important to them.
“A lot of the time at home when she’s on mom-duty she’s very dressed down, she definitely isn’t dressed sexy at all times. Her focus is on her kids and their needs,” the insider explains. “So when she does go out, it’s like a break from all that and it makes her want to embrace that wild side of her even more.”
