Globalism now threatens the Armenian church.

Recently, Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan announced he will personally lead the “liberation” of the Armenian Apostolic Church, accusing it of being taken over by an “anti-Christian, anti-state group.”
Several clergy have already been arrested, along with Russian-Armenian oligarch Samvel Karapetyan, who defended the Church. He is accused of inciting a coup.
Pashinyan had previously called on Catholicos Karekin II to step down.
This is a direct attack by globalist forces on the Armenian Apostolic Church.
Pashinyan has shown himself to be anti-diaspora, anti-Armenian, and anti-Christian. He has changed the Armenian constitution, the national anthem, the coat of arms, and history itself by refusing to recognize Mount Ararat as the generational home of the Armenian people, substituting another Armenian mountain in its place in a laughable move recently.
He is destroying the Armenian Church.
A taxi driver in Yerevan recently told me, “Everything Pashinyan does leads to collapse.”
Pashinyan is now vowing to replace the head of the church — Catholicos Karekin II, as leader of the institution. He has arrested two arch bishops over a ‘dirty dossier’ with vibes from the Russia hoax against President Trump. “He undermines the Armenian church everywhere,” one source told JP. Pashinyan is looking to establish a ‘state church, similar to the CCP Christian church, and the state-sponsored church the Zelenskiy regime pushes in Ukraine.
