Adele and Rich Paul 'Making Plans for a Beautiful Nursery' (EXCLUSIVE)
Adele and Rich Paul are determined to have a child – eventually – but in the meantime they’re doting on their many furry friends, as well as her son, Angelo, and renovating their $58 million mansion to ensure they’re spoiled rotten, a source exclusively tells Life & Style.
“Adele has always been an animal lover,” the source dishes, “At the moment, she’s got two dogs and a cat but she does want to get more animals eventually.”
The “Someone Like You” singer, 36, even proclaimed her fondness for her feline friends during a Las Vegas residency performance in October, telling the rapturous crowd, “I’m absolutely going to become an emergency foster cat mum once I move into my new house.”
“I’ve created a room that my fiancée doesn’t even know exists and I’m going to have loads of crates built into the wall with all the supplies.”
While the beans may have been spilled to super-agent Rich, 43, while she was on stage, the source notes “she was only half-joking when she said she wants to build a special room in her house as a cat nursery.”
In fact, the animal-lover has already “fostered 3 kittens not long ago and loved being able to help them, so she wants to do more of that.”
The coupe purchased their sprawling Beverly Hills mega mansion in 2022 from none other than actor Sylvester Stallone and began extensive remodeling work on the property last year. According to photos snapped of the renovations, several walls of the house had been knocked down and the second floor had been taken off completely, which means the dream pad is likely undergoing a seriously heavy makeover.
While her beau may have been the last to find out about her cat room, the insider assures “Rich is totally supportive,” adding that the Klutch Sports Group owner “loves animals too and anything that makes Adele happy, makes him happy.”
But the “Hello” songstress isn’t stopping with kittens, in fact the Grammy winner “wants chickens and she’s getting Angelo a bearded lizard.”
In a move that the source hopes Rich does actually know about, “She’s promised [Angelo] a tarantula, as well.”
With all of the talk about adding animals to their family, the insider tells that adding another human is still very much on the table – and a big part of their remodeling process. Adele already has one son, Angelo, 12, from her relationship with ex Simon Konecki, but is definitely looking forward to having a baby with Rich, with the “Rolling in the Deep” singer saying, “I really want to be a mom again soon,” in 2023.
“They still want to have a baby, that’s very much on the agenda, so they’re babyproofing the property and making plans for a beautiful nursery, but they also don’t want to put a whole lot of pressure on things,” the source adds. “Right now, the renovation is taking up all their spare time, but eventually they do plan to have a child together, one way or another.”
