A New Kind Of Metropolis For America – The Washington Customary
Cities are a primary United Nations (UN) and World Economic Forum (WEF) target for surveillance and control. Ideas include 15-minute cities, 20-minute neighborhoods, and smart cities. Plain old redesigning cities and how they operate include Freedom Cities or just letting the wealthy build what they want.
Since the precedent has been set, others have noticed and taken steps towards creating an Islamic community in Texas, originally called Epic City but now rebranded as The Meadow, to lessen its controversy. An inflammatory video that sparked the controversy by promoting the city for Islam has since been removed, but is available from other sources.
Set on 402 acres near Plano, Texas, the land was bought in 2024 by Community Capital Partners, a Limited Partnership and general partner with Epic Real Properties, which was formed by members of the East Plano Islamic Center (EPIC). The plan is to build “1,000 homes, a K-12 religious school, a mosque and a retail center”, along with other amenities. Investment into this community involves the purchase of shares in the company for $80k each, not individual properties, but the investor can then reserve a lot. $40 million dollars has been made so far on the sale of 500 shares. Little background information could be found on Community Capital Partners’ directors and executives.
While there has been an alleged intent to sell only to those of the Islamic faith, which would be a violation of the Fair Housing Act, the developers in this project have declared the community is open to anyone interested in investing. After an investigation by the Texas Workforce Commission, Community Capital Partners will attend fair housing training, change some language in its marketing, and create fair housing polices.
The Department of Justice did its own investigation into this project and has subsequently dropped the case. Meanwhile, Texas Governor Greg Abbott signed House Bill 4211, which bans residential developments that create Sharia compounds and discriminate against Texans. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has filed a lawsuit against EPIC and Community Capital Partners, but is already running into roadblocks.
As of January 6, 2025, the plan to build the city is still moving forward, while the lawsuit is underway by the State of Texas. If this city plan is allowed to proceed, it will set a precedent for the rest of the country. Like others who have the wealth to build any city of their choosing with separate ideologies, laws, and ideas on how those cities are managed outside of established laws, perhaps the new trend will be spiritually led communities.
It is concerning to understand how massive wealth can be used to undermine the foundation of our Republic, and control taken out of citizens’ hands. But, with these new city concepts popping up, and the dismantling of laws to build them, it may just be one more part of the march towards America’s demise.
