Nevada Question 6 is Killing Babies in Abortions Up to Birth. Vote No
We’ve written about and posted keen observations about Nevada’s maximalist Question 6, a proposed constitutional amendment which would without question legalize abortion up until birth. Melissa Clements, Nevada Right to Life’s executive director, laid the case against Question 6 out in a brilliant op-ed here.
What’s perversely interesting although entirely predictable is that the Abortion Lobby lies without shame. Question 6 will not “restore” Roe v. Wade, as awful as that now discarded Supreme Court decision was. It unambiguously eliminates all protections which is like cutting the brake lines on a runaway train.
If you look at what other states have torched after they pass a pro-abortion constitutional amendment, almost the first thing they invariably go after is parental involvement. Can’t have those pesky moms and dads having a chance to talk to their minor daughters about a matter literally of life and death.

Victor Joecks is a columnist for the Las Vegas Review-Journal. He wrote a must read column today under the headline “Question 6 would protect full-term abortions.”
Joecks asks the question
Especially if you support abortion, ask yourself this question, “Do I support any restrictions on abortion?”
But, as he explains, even “Many abortion supporters don’t support late-term abortions.”
A 2024 Associated Press poll found that 70 percent of respondents said abortion should be legal in all or most cases. It found that 76 percent said abortion should be allowed at six weeks. But just 30 percent supported abortion at 24 weeks. Those results are from the same poll.
But Question 6 would protect all abortions “until fetal viability, or when needed to protect the life or health of the pregnant patient.” That may sound like it protects abortions only up to six months. But health can include mental health. An abortionist simply has to assert that an abortion is needed to protect the woman’s mental health. If this question passes, it will place full-term abortion protections in the Nevada Constitution.
Joecks then goes on to emphasize that under Question 6, no longer will only doctors perform abortions that it’s provisions will make toast of the aforementioned parental notification law.
“There’s a reason abortion supporters stick to euphemisms,” he writes. “The more you find out about Question 6, the less likely you are to support it.”
Joecks concludes
Put those things together and you could end up with school nurses handing out abortion pills. Quite the bait and switch.
Only this bait and switch will open the floodgates to unregulated abortion up to and including the 9th month.
