Oklahoma man convicted for threats of ‘gunning down’ ICE brokers
An Oklahoma man has been convicted for making multiple threats against ICE agents to shoot, kill, and gun down the federal officers. The jury found him guilty in the case, and he was taken into custody after being out on bond. His sentencing will take place at a later date.
Logan Christopher Murfin, 26, was convicted of five counts of threatening to assault and murder federal law enforcement officers as well as five counts of interstate communication with a threat to injure. He made a number of X posts threatening ICE agents in multiple instances.
Murfin made the posts under the username “Azulenq” and data on the posts were collected to show to the jury, which convicted him on the counts. “Murfin was indicted by a federal grand jury in December 2025. After being arrested and Mirandized, Murfin spoke with agents and stated he was angry and ‘pissed off’ at ICE agents and admitted to making the posts on the X account. The jury heard a recording of the interview at trial,” according to a press release from the DOJ.
Murfin’s posts were at times in response to ICE as well as other talking about ICE on the social media platform. In one instance on October 18 2025, he wrote, “Need too start shooting these ‘just following orders’ pigs. Ice agents are reenacting ww2 nazi germany and its not acceptable. Only good ice terrorist is buried 6 feet under.”
In another post, on September 28 last year, he wrote, “We as US citizens should be gunning down these domestic terrorists. All ice gestapo can not use the ‘just following orders’ excuse. If you’re complicit in this act you’ve gotta be executed for this act.”

In a post responding directly to ICE on X, the user said, “ice gestapo agents need to either be executed publicy. ‘just following orders’ is not a valid excuse in modern days.”
