How Ordinary Americans Became “Conspiracy Theorists”

The phrase “conspiracy theorist” was invented in 1967 by the CIA to discredit people asking inconvenient questions about the Kennedy assassination. Look it up. It’s in the FOIA documents. So the next time someone uses that label to end a conversation, remember: the label itself is the conspiracy.

Academy of Ideas does what the mainstream press stopped doing years ago. It takes the uncomfortable question seriously instead of dismissing the person asking it.
