Democrat Congressman’s SOTU Visitor Named in Police Studies Involving “S*xual Assault & Juveniles”

Democrat Rep. Seth Moulton brought an illegal alien from Brazil named Marcelo Gomes da Silva as his guest to President Trump’s State of the Union address.

Now, as it turns out, this individual was named in police reports from 2021 involving sexual assault and minors.

Shocker.

Here’s what we know:

Marcelo Gomes da Silva was detained by ICE for a few days last May after he overstayed his student visa.

During the State of the Union, Rep. Moulton “hid” Marcelo in his office after he ended up leaving the address early due to the DHS calling out his illegal status.

Moulton defended the illegal immigrant, calling him the “kind of young person America should be investing in, not locking up.”

CBS News reported:

As Mr. Trump delivered his speech, the teen’s experience took a turn.

The Department of Homeland Security posted on X that Gomes da Silva “is an illegal alien who has no right to be in our nation. We are committed to enforcing the law and fighting for the arrest, detention, and removal of aliens like him.”

He was escorted out of the speech at approximately 9:45 p.m. by one of Moulton’s staff members and watched the remainder of the speech from Moulton’s office.

A spokesperson for Congressman Moulton said the decision to pull Gomes da Silva from the House gallery audience was made “out of an abundance of caution” after the official government account for DHS issued a post “targeting and harassing Marcelo.”

“My immigration officer said it was OK, everyone said that it was OK,” Gomes da Silva said.

“Someone that works for ICE, she said if you are under an asylum case, that you are protected and that you’re legally in America,” Gomes da Silva said. “So, to see the DHS post that tweet really affected me because it’s like you are kind of being a hypocrite.”

Gomes da Silva arrived in Milford from Brazil when he was six years old. He entered the U.S. with his parents legally with a visa that later expired. He said he has now applied for asylum.

Moulton said he invited Gomes da Silva to the State of the Union because, “He is exactly the kind of young person America should be investing in, not locking up.”

Police have not released much specific information about the reports involving Marcelo Gomes da Silva.

The Milford Police Department is refusing to release the full reports to the media.

However, their Deputy Police Chief said that Marcelo was named in two reports — one involving “a sexual assault and juveniles” and another involving “juveniles.”

The Boston Herald has more:

The Herald submitted a public records request to the Secretary of State’s Office and the Milford Police Department regarding two reports, one from June and the other from September of 2021, where Marcelo Gomes da Silva was apparently named as the person of interest.

The Herald sought the police report numbered 21-23101 dated 9/15/2021 featuring Marcelo Gomes da Silva and 1-16254 dated 6/30/21 also featuring the 19-year-old.

Milford Deputy Chief John Sanchioni denied both of those requests, indicating that the police report from June 2021 “involves a sexual assault and juveniles,” and that the report from September 2021 “involves juveniles.” He did not elaborate.

The deputy chief simply wrote: “The records you are requesting are not public records in accordance with M.G.L. c. 4 s. 7 cl. 26 (A). Report 21-23101-OF involves a sexual assault and juveniles. Report 21-16254-OF involves juveniles.”

Moulton brought Gomes da Silva to the State of the Union address Feb. 24 as his guest in a highly publicized trip announced earlier in the month. Moulton had posted on social media that he had to allow Gomes da Silva to hide in his office after leaving the speech early due to social media posts about him by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

These are the kind of people that Democrats want to celebrate.

They refuse to stand to pay respect to veterans or families who have lost loved ones, but they bring illegal immigrants (allegedly) involved in sexually abusing children as guests of honor.

If that doesn’t clearly show you where they stand, I don’t know what will.

This sums it up:
